I didn't get near as many pictures of this weekend as I could have but it gets a little crazy when all of us are together (21 of us in just Kanyon's immediate family) and the last thing I want to do is worry about making sure I get a picture of everything!
We all stayed in one cabin and it was so fun. Kanyon and I ended up sleeping on one twin bed (because the other one in our room was tilted) so it was cramped but it didn't even matter because we were all together for the first time in a while. It was the Young family reunion that we were there for, Kanyon's Mama Brown's family.
We had a great time with each other and with all of the cousins and family there. We stayed at the Innsbrook Cabins in Ruidoso, NM. The weather was still warm but so much better than the West Texas heat we'd been experiencing.
Saturday night, we went out to Flying J Ranch, a place where they give you a little show in the town square, feed you a chuckwagon dinner, and sing and entertain you while you eat. It was great food and the singers were great. The kids got to run around outside in the town square after. We were a tired group after playing in the sun all day.
Definitely the highlight of my trip was getting to finally spend time with our new nephews! This must have been the few times I gave him up for someone else to hold him.
So glad Bailey got to come, too! She had her family reunion that weekend, too, but chose to come with us :)
It was kind of a whirlwind of a weekend but it was so much fun. The next morning, Kalith made chocolate gravy and biscuits for several people and then we headed to Colorado for Frontier Ranch! Post of that part coming later.
